Description
Handcrafted sheesham wood dholak for folk and devotional music
This traditional double-headed Indian dholak is handcrafted from solid sheesham wood and finished in a warm natural brown. Its bolt-tuned hardware gives players dependable tension control for bhajan, kirtan, folk music, dance, teaching, studio work and live performance.
Balanced bass and treble response
The larger bass head produces a rounded low voice, while the smaller treble head delivers the clear, lively attack associated with a well-set dholak. The inner bass treatment helps create a focused pitch and practical tonal contrast between both playing surfaces.
